Monthly Update

In June we are trying something a little different!
In an effort to pare down the number of emails you receive from Resource Generation we have turned June’s monthly update into a blog post. It’s full of timely information on RG’s events, events from our partner organizations, and chapter details.
In May, the MMMC Organizing Team met for the first time in person to get the ball rolling on planning for this November. They had so much fun and built so much trust in their short two days together that some of them ended their work with an impromptu photo shoot. We can only hope we have this much fun at MMMC!
And when we aren’t voguing for the photobooth, we are busy creating ways to keep you connected.
Read on to find out what’s happening in the RG community or to find an event near you!
Enjoy!

Take the Family Philanthropy Survey

We are amidst a chapter of re-visioning the family philanthropy program. Please take a moment to take our survey. Your responses will help us get a better pulse on what interest there is for further collaboration, learning and engagement in this coming year and the road ahead. The deadline for responses is JUNE 30th.
Your individual responses and contacts will be kept confidential but we will compile them into a report to be distributed to the family philanthropy list-serve by the end of July.
For questions please contact Sonja at [email protected]
Next Gen Leadership Development Opportunity
Grand Street is a unique opportunity for a subset of Gen Yers – Jewish men and women aged 18-28 who want to explore what it means to be involved in family philanthropy. Experience has taught us the value of offering next generation leaders the chance to explore their questions off the record with a small group of peers. We host annual weekend gatherings (with this year’s scheduled for June 10-12), after which participants are invited to partake in ongoing networking, skill building, international site visits, and other related events.
Facilitated by 21/64, Grand Street helps next generation philanthropists navigate important identity-building years by offering a unique opportunity to gain insight and understanding in a safe space among peers. If you or a next-gen family member is interested in learning more about Grand Street, please click here.
