Our Values
We believe that inner and outer change are deeply connected, and that every person has the ability to heal and transform.
We are committed to working towards changing ourselves, our organizations, our communities and society as a whole.
We work to end racism and restructure the economy to have the world we want and need.
The history of the unequal distribution of wealth in the U.S. is a history of racism — it is impossible to separate the two. We have a commitment to ending racism and working towards racial justice and this is a central part of RG programs.
We believe social justice movements need to be led by communities most directly impacted by injustice.
As young wealthy people, we support the leadership of working class communities, poor people, communities of color, women and LGBTQ folks in transformative social justice movements. We also bring our full selves and our own good thinking. We build cross-class relationships in working for a just healthy world.
We work towards collective prosperity that does not exploit people and the planet.
We believe that all communities are interconnected & interdependent and that inequity in any community affects us all. We strive for collective prosperity because we know that our safety lies in our relationships and community not our money or material objects, and that people with wealth have everything to gain from reversing wealth inequality and transforming our economy.
We believe that people ages 18-35 with wealth and class privilege are at a particularly key stage in life to effect social justice
We are living in the most extreme wealth inequality in modern history. As people rising into adulthood, young people with wealth and class privilege need to be organized around and empowered in taking control of the resources we have access to, in a commitment to building a more just world. We are standing on the shoulders of those who came before us, and we are working for a better world for those who will come after.
