Tammy S.

Tammy (She/her) lives in Lenape land known as Brooklyn, NY. She comes from a middle-class family and was raised just outside of Washington, D.C. Tammy has spent time in many corners of the movement as an organizer, facilitator, and trainer. She is currently the Senior Director of Organizing at Resource Generation. Previously, she was the Program Director for the NYC Network of Worker Cooperatives for almost a decade, and a freelance facilitator and movement trainer, specializing in Decentralized Movement Networks. She is also currently an advisor and trainer with Diaspora Alliance. When not engaged in organizing and movement work, Tammy can be found spending time with her family and community in Brooklyn, making music, getting out into nature as often as possible, playing board games, and building community everywhere.
