Eboni C.

Human Resources Manager

A proud Gen-Xer, Eboni has been an activist and grassroots organizer for most of her life – born to a former Black Panther father, and a mom who was a Chicago Public Schools teacher and union leader, and heavily engaged in local political campaigns. Eboni continued her parents’ path with political education classes in Black radical leftist and womanist global studies, and by participating in community-based humanitarian efforts. This started as a member of PETA at age 12, and evolved to combating white supremacy, racial capitalism, and patriarchy by volunteering with various youth enrichment, prison abolition, anti-death penalty, displacement, domestic workers rights, and food accessibility-centered organizations from Chicago to Harlem, to Tulsa, and finally settling in occupied Cherokee and Muskogee Creek territory (Atlanta) in 2006. Eboni joined the staff of RG in September of 2024, and spends her off-work time being a hands-on solo parent to her two youngins, chasing waterfalls, mountainous and ocean-side views, listening to all genres of music (dancing when she can), and cooking and baking veganized soul food and ethnic cuisine.
