Jeannie grew up in a mixed-class household in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. She was politicized in college and has never looked back. She discovered her love for social justice communications during her prolific zine-producing era in her senior year of college. Her professional communications work began in a college admissions office, to a reproductive justice nonprofit, and finally found a home at Resource Generation where she can bring her humor, political lens, and youthful voice to her work.
Jeannie majored in Philosophy and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Wesleyan University. She currently calls Atlanta, GA, the lands of Muscogee Nation, home.
